FEP Policy Source Updater is a utility that is triggered by Configuration Manager every time a default FEP policy is modified. The utility performs the following tasks:

  • Copies the modified policy files and their related software distribution packages to Configuration Manager distribution points.

  • Manages the behavior of FEP policy software packages between primary sites in the Configuration Manager hierarchy.
