During installation, you can specify where to install server applications and where to store the data folders for these applications. It is recommended that you separate your server applications from your application data. To do this, use multiple hard disks or partition your hard disk into multiple drives. After reading this topic, if you are unsure of how you want to allocate disk space, it is recommended that you use the default values that are provided during installation. The default values are typical for a small business.
