To leave a homegroup

  1. Open the Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials Dashboard.

  2. Click Server settings. The Server Settings page appears.

  3. Click HomeGroup.

  4. On the Change HomeGroup settings page, click Leave the homegroup.

  5. In the Leave the Homegroup Wizard, click Leave the homegroup.

Note

If you leave the homegroup, you can no longer access or share files with the homegroup.
