AxdBase.prepareForUpdate Method [AX 2012]
Prepares an AxBC class to be updated.

public boolean prepareForUpdate(AxdStack _axBcStack, str _dataSourceName)

- _axBcStack
Type: AxdStack Class
A stack of instance of the AxBC class.
- _dataSourceName
Type: str
The data source name.
Return Value
Type: boolean
true if the top element on the stack should be updated; otherwise, false.
Remarks
Derived classes can override this method.
A derived document class can update data on the top node of the stack or replace it with a new instance of the AxInternalBase class.
Derived classes can also collect state data that will be used when the validateDocument method is called.
The prepareForUpdate method is called immediately before updating the top node of the stack.
This method is called if an existing record is being updated.
