Updated: February 25, 2011

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Preprocessing upgrade checklist > Prepare application data for preprocessing > Product upgrade > View > Product preview > Validation > Validation results or All validation results.

Use this form to view details of validation results and to repeat validation when you resolve mapping errors. Mapping errors are caused by inconsistencies or data violations such as two items with identical names mapped to the same product. If, for example, you have mapped all items by item number, you will probably have to do iterations to resolve errors.

Note Note

You must repeat the mapping process and the validation until all errors are resolved.

Note Note

This form can be opened from two submenu items:

  • Validation results – View the validation results for the selected item-to-product mapping.

  • All validation results – View the validation results for all item-to-product mappings.
