Ledger account category upgrade errors (form) [AX 2012]

Use this form to view and resolve the upgrade errors for ledger account categories when you upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.

  1. Click Prepare financial dimension framework for upgrade to open the Prepare financial dimension framework for upgrade form.

  2. Click Ledger account categories upgrade validation to display the ledger account categories and upgrade errors.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field

Description

Reference ID

The unique identifier for the ledger account category.

Ledger account category

The ledger account category that you are upgrading.

Status

The status of the upgrade of the ledger account category.

  • A green check mark indicates that there were no issues with the ledger account category.

  • A red X indicates that there is an issue with the ledger account category. The issue is displayed in the Error field.

Error

If a red X is displayed, duplicate ledger account categories have the same reference ID. You can select the ledger account category to upgrade in the lower pane.

Select

Select the check box next to the ledger account category to upgrade and to use as the shared ledger account category across all legal entities.

Company

The company IDs that the ledger account category is set up in.

Description

The description of the ledger account category.

Account type

The account type for the ledger account category.

Closed

If this check box is selected, the ledger account category is closed and cannot be associated with new accounts.
