Click Preprocessing upgrade checklist > Prepare application data for preprocessing > Product upgrade > View > Product preview. Select a product and click Translations > Product translations or All product translations

Click Preprocessing checklist > Prepare application data for preprocessing > Product upgrade > View > Product preview > Variants. Select a product variant and then click Product variants or click All product variants and then click Product variant translations or All product variant translations
View translations for products or for product variants.
In this form you can view translations for a selected product or product variant or for all products or product variants. The form can be opened from the Product preview form or from the Product variants form.
Open this form from the buttons Product variant translations or All product variant translations in the Product variants form, to view translations that are associated with product variants.
Open this form from the Product preview form, to view translations that are associated with products.
Translations that are associated with products are derived from item descriptions that are given in different languages.
- In the original data set, click Inventory management > Items > Setup > Language – Item description to view the language descriptions for items.
Translations that are associated with product variants are derived from descriptions given in the different languages of item dimension combinations.
- In the original data set, click Inventory management > Items > Setup > Item dimension combinations > Language > Item description to view descriptions.
Navigating the form
The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

System-generated product number |
This shows the product number that is generated for product variants. The product number includes the original item number combined with the dimensions that were associated with the item. Note This field is only available if you open the form from the All product variant translations button. |
Product number |
Identification of the product. Note This field is only available if you open the form from the All product translations button. |
Language |
The language of the text. |
Name |
Identification of the translation. Tip Enter a new name in the Name field under the list if required. |
Description |
Descriptive name of the translation. Tip Enter a new text in the Text field under the list if you must change the descriptive name. |
Name |
Enter a new identification for the translation. |
Text |
Enter a new descriptive name for the translation. |
