Product variants (form) (Upgrade)

Click Preprocessing upgrade checklist > Prepare application data for preprocessing > Product upgrade > View > Product preview > Variants. Click Product variants or All product variants.

Use this form to view the product variants for products of the Product master type.

Note

Only products of the Product master type have variants. Items in the original dataset that have active dimensions are created as product masters. The dimensions or combinations of dimensions are created as product variants.

Note

You can open this form by clicking either Product variants or All product variants on the submenu.

  • Product variants – View the product variants for the selected product master.

  • All product variants – View all product variants for all of the product masters in the list.

Description

System-generated product number

The product number that is generated for the product variant. The product number includes the original item number and the dimensions that were associated with the original item.

Configuration, Size, and Color

The configuration, size, and color dimensions that are associated with the item.

Name

Enter a name for the product variant.

Item number

The original item that the product is based on.

Company

The item's company of origin.

Reference

A reference to the unique record for the inventory dimension group.
