Lean schedule groups upgrade (form)

Click Preprocessing upgrade checklist > Prepare application data for preprocessing. Click Prepare kanbans for migration or Prepare LOS schedules for migration. Click Next version base data, and then click Lean schedule groups.
Use this form to create one or more lean schedule groups. Use a lean schedule group to aggregate items for production. Items are aggregated for production at a particular work cell or for production generally. For example, you aggregate items based on a setup group, shipping group, or transport group. When you use lean schedule groups together with assigned color codes, you obtain a clearer visual overview of the production schedule when you work with the kanban boards.
When you prepare your data for migration to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Lean manufacturing, you can assign a lean schedule group to your current data by using the following forms:

On the Product family tab, select a lean schedule group. During the data migration process, item lines for the assigned lean schedule groups are generated. A schedule group line is generated for each item that has a defined lean schedule group and the related throughput ratio.

Schedule group |
Enter the unique identification of the lean schedule group. |
Work cell |
Select a work cell to assign to the lean schedule group. The lean schedule group is then only valid for that particular work cell. |
Company |
View the identification of the current company. |
Schedule color |
Select a color to associate with the lean schedule group when it is displayed in the kanban boards. The kanban jobs that are created for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Lean manufacturing have this color code assigned, and the jobs are displayed in the kanban boards using this color. |
