Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Prepare application data for preprocessing > Product upgrade > Product mapping > Map all items 1:1.
Use this form to map each item to a unique product. When an item is mapped, the item number is replicated in the new product number. The name and search name of the product are identical to the name and search name of the item.
Note
On the General tab of this form, you can define a numbering convention. This numbering convention is applied if you map items that have identical item numbers but come from different companies. The item numbers that currently exist are replaced with numbers that are based on the numbering convention.
