Stage rules (form) [AX 2012]

Click Project management and accounting > Setup > Project management and accounting parameters. On the Action Pane, on the Project stage tab, click Project stage rules.

Use this form to set rules for project stages.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field

Description

Project type

Select the project type that you want to set rules for.

Create beginning balances:

Select this check box to allow beginning balances to be created for the selected project type.

Create forecast/budget

Select this check box to allow a forecast to be created for the selected project type.

NoteNote

This check box does not control the ability to create budget forecasts.

Create quotation

Select this check box to allow a quotation to be created for the selected project type.

Create estimates

Select this check box to allow estimates to be created for the selected project type.

Create item tasks

Select this check box to allow item tasks to be created for the selected project type.

Create journals

Select this check box to allow a journal to be created for the selected project type.

Create invoice proposal

Select this check box to allow an invoice proposal to be created for the selected project type.

Reverse eliminate

Select this check box to allow a reverse eliminate budget for the selected project type.
