Create collaboration workspace (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Project tab, in the Set up group, click Collaboration workspace, and then click Create collaboration workspace.

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Opportunities > All opportunities. On the Action Pane, on the General tab, in the Set up group, click Collaboration workspace, and then click Create collaboration workspace.

–or–

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Campaigns > All campaigns. On the Action Pane, on the General tab, in the Set up group, click Collaboration workspace, and then click Create collaboration workspace.

Use the Create collaboration workspace form to set up a new shared workspace for a project, opportunity, or campaign.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field

Description

Workspace URL

Enter the URL for the home page for the workspace.

Template

Select the template that will determine the structure and features of the workspace.

Title

Enter a name for the workspace.

Description

Enter a description to summarize the purpose of the workspace.
