Create circulating cards (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Kanban rules. Select a rule that uses the replenishment strategy Fixed. On the Kanban and cards FastTab, click Create cards.

Use this form to create and print circulating cards for the selected fixed kanban rule. The form displays the current status of circulating cards for the rule.

After circulating cards are created, they can be assigned to active kanbans. Cards are assigned according to the method of card assignment that is configured for the rule. Card assignment is either automatic or manual. Circulating cards are reusable. When a job is completed and the referenced kanban becomes inactive, the circulating cards can be reassigned to active kanbans.
