Production flow activities (form)

Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Production flows. On the Versions tab, click Activities.

Use this form to obtain an overview of the production flow activities that are created and configured for the selected production flow version. In the activities overview, multiple activities are listed in the order that they were created.

On the Predecessors and Successors tabs, you can view the upstream and downstream activities that are defined for the selected activity. These activities are configured with activity relations that define an activity sequence. You can update production flow versions that are not activated by adding or removing an activity relation.

Actions

Button	Description
New version activity	Open the Create new plan activity wizard, where you can create activities for the production flow and add the created activity to the version. Open the Add existing form, where you can add existing activities to the production flow version.
Remove	Remove the selected activity from the production flow version. The activity is removed from the version, but it is not deleted. It can still be used in other versions of the production flow. This button is available only if the production flow version is not activated.
Details	Open the Activity details form, where you can view or modify information about the selected activity.

Tabs

Tab	Description
General	View basic information about the selected activity.
Predecessors	View the upstream activity or activities that are defined for the selected activity. The activity relations that are configured for these activities can carry sequence constraints. You can update a production flow version that is not activated by adding or removing an activity relation.
Successors	View the downstream activity or activities that are defined for the selected activity. The activity relations that are configured for these activities can carry sequence constraints. You can update a production flow version that is not activated by adding or removing an activity relation.

Buttons

Button	Description
Add predecessor	Open the Create activity relation form, where you can add a new activity relation to the production flow version and define the related end to start sequence constraint.
Edit	Open the Edit activity relation form, where you can change the constraint value and the cycle time ratio for the activity relation. This control is not available in versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 prior to cumulative update 6 for AX 2012 R2.
Remove	Remove the selected activity relation, successor or predecessor, from the production flow version.
Add successor	Open the Create activity relation form, where you can add a new activity relation to the production flow version and define the related end to start sequence constraint.

Fields

Fields	Description
Activity	The identifier of the activity.
Name	The name of the activity.
Activity type	The type of the activity.
Ratio	The cycle time ratio that is set up for the activity relation in the Create activity relation form.
