Budgeting dimensions (form)

Click Budgeting > Setup > Basic budgeting > Dimensions for budgeting.
Use this form to select the financial dimensions to use for Budgeting. The financial dimensions that are defined for Budgeting are used in budget register entries and are available for budget control. For more information, see Create budget register entries and Set up budget control.
You can select from the financial dimensions that are in the account structures for the chart of accounts. If the same dimension is used in multiple account structures, it appears only once in the list of dimensions for the chart of accounts.

Budget dimension |
The dimensions that are selected for Budgeting. To remove a dimension from the Budget dimension pane, select it and then click the arrow button. You cannot remove a budget dimension if it is enabled for budget control. |
Chart of accounts dimension |
The available dimensions from the chart of accounts. Select a dimension and then click the arrow button to move the dimension to the Budget dimension pane. |
