Fixed asset changes history (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select a fixed asset. On the Action Pane click Value models. Select a value model and then click Inquiry > Change history.

Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select a fixed asset. On the Action Pane, click Depreciation books. Select a depreciation book and then click Inquiry > Change history.

Use this form to view changes that were made to the service life, depreciation periods, expected scrap value, and sales value for the asset in the Value models or Depreciation books forms, if you specified in the Fixed assets parameters form that a reason is required for a change to the service life, depreciation periods, expected scrap value, or sales value of an asset. You can view which user made the change, the previous field value, the new field value, the date of the change, and other information.

Fields

Field

Description

Change date time

The date and time when the field was changed, converted to your time zone.

Fixed asset number

The number of the fixed asset that was changed.

Value model

The name of the value model that included the fixed asset that was changed.

Depreciation book

The name of the depreciation book that included the fixed asset that was changed.

Field changed

The name of the field that was changed.

Old value

The value of the field before the change.

New value

The value of the field after the change.

Reason code

The reason code that was selected in the Reason form when the change was made.

Reason comment

The comments about the reason, if the user who made the change entered a comment in the Reason form.

Changed by

The ID of the user who made the changes.
