This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Transportation management module.

Click Inventory management > Setup > Shipping carrier > Carrier interface.

Use this form to activate the shipping carrier interfaces that you use in your business.

Set up shipping carriers

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Carrier interface ID

Select an available shipping carrier interface:

  • Clippership

  • FedEx Ship Manager

  • UPS WorldShip

Enabled

If selected, sales order information can be automatically transferred to the shipping carrier software, and freight and other charges can be automatically transferred to Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Test mode

If selected, information can be entered manually to simulate the results received from the shipping carrier software. Select this check box when you are setting up and testing the shipping carrier software integration, and then clear the check box when you are ready to use the integration.
