Modify or delete a project timesheet

This topic explains how to modify or delete a timesheet in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. You can delete or modify a timesheet only if it hasn’t been submitted.

Modify a timesheet

  1. Depending on your version of the program, do one of the following:

    • In AX 2012 R2: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Timesheets > My timesheets.

    • In AX 2012: Home> Common > Timesheets > All timesheets.

  2. On the All timesheets list page, select the timesheet that you want to modify.

  3. On the Action Pane, in the Maintain group, click Edit.

  4. In the Edit timesheet form, change existing timesheet lines, or click New line to add new timesheet lines.

  5. To submit the timesheet to the approval workflow, in the workflow message bar, click Submit.

Delete a timesheet

  1. Depending on your version of the program, do one of the following:

    • In AX 2012 R2: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Timesheets > My timesheets.

    • In AX 2012: Home> Common > Timesheets > All timesheets.

  2. On the All timesheets list page, select the timesheet that you want to delete.

  3. On the Action Pane, in the Maintain group, click Delete.
