AIF inbound transforms (form)

Click System administration > Setup > Services and Application Integration Framework > Inbound ports. Create or modify an enhanced integration port. Then, on the Processing options FastTab, click Inbound transforms.

Specify inbound transforms for the integration port. The following two types of transforms are supported:

  • XSLT-based transforms

  • .NET Framework assembly-based binary transforms

The order of the items in the list corresponds to the order that the transforms are applied during processing.

Move the transform higher in the list.

Move the transform lower in the list.

Manage transforms

Open the Manage transforms form to add or delete transforms available in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Load configuration

Loads a configuration file for the selected .NET assembly-based transform. XML-based transforms do not use configuration files.

Transform name

Select a transform. The transforms available to select are defined in the Manage transforms form. If no transforms are listed, click Manage transforms to add a new transform.

Configuration

The current configuration. Click Load configuration to load a configuration file or enter the configuration information.

Configuration information can be any arbitrary text. For example, the developer of the transform could provide a ready-to-use configuration file or documentation that describes how to provide configuration parameters.
