Environmental process references (form)

Click Compliance and internal controls > Common > Environmental sustainability > Environmental processes > Environmental process references.

Use this form to specify the substances that flow between different processes.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Source process

Select the source process for the substance.

Destination process

Select the destination process for the substance.

Substance

Select the substance to be included in the process.

Category

Select the category that the substance belongs to.

Scope

Select the degree of influence that your organization has over the process:

  • None – A process that your organization has no control over and does not provide any supplies for.

  • Primary - A process that your organization has direct control over. For example, manufacturing that is performed by your organization.

  • Secondary - A process that supplies materials or substances directly to your organization. For example, a utility that supplies gas or electricity.

  • Tertiary - A process that your organization has no direct control over, but that supplies your organization with some substances. For example, a manufacturer or a trading company that supplies products to your organization.

Description

Enter a brief description of the process.

Frequency

Enter the number of entry intervals that pass between data entry times. For example, if you enter 2 in the Substance field and Month in the Substance field, data is entered every two months.

Entry interval

Select the interval of time to use for data entry.

Quantity

Enter the amount of the substance.

Unit

Enter the unit of measure for the substance.

Start date/time

Select the start date and time for the process reference.

End date/time

Select the end date and time for the process reference.
