Designate approver (form) [AX 2012]

Click File > Tools > Options.... Click the Miscellaneous FastTab, and then click Electronic signature > Designate approver.

Use the Designate approver form to specify a user who must sign for another user's changes. For example, a supervisor might be required to sign for changes that certain employees make to bills of materials.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field

Description

Approver user ID

The ID of the user who signs.

User name

The name of the user who signs. The user name is displayed automatically when you select the approver user ID.

Sign for user ID

The ID of the user whose changes are signed for.

User name

The name of the user whose changes are signed for. The user name is displayed automatically when you select the ID of the user to sign for.
