Job (form) [AX 2012]

Click Human resources > Common > Organization > Jobs. On the Action Pane, click Job to create a new position record, or select a position from the list and then click Edit to modify an existing position record.
Use this form to create and manage jobs.

Copy from | Copy job requirement information from a job template or from another job. | ||
ADA | Enter or print information about the physical requirements for the selected job. Select one of the following options:

Maintain versions | Open the Maintain job versions form, where you can maintain effective date information for the job. | ||
Refresh | Refresh the data for the selected record. | ||
Export to Microsoft Excel | Export information from the selected record into Microsoft Excel. | ||
Attachments | Open the Document handling form, where you can attach documents to the selected job record. |
Field | Description |

Job | Enter a unique name or ID for the job. |
Description | Enter a description of the job. |
Title | Enter the title of the job. |
Maximum positions | Select this option to enter a specific number of positions that can be associated with the job. |
Unlimited | Select this option to allow an unlimited number of positions to be associated with the job. |
Full-time equivalent | Enter an employment factor from 0 to 1. The value 1 indicates a full-time job. For part-time employment, enter a number between 0 and 1. For example, a part-time job can be .5. |

Survey company | Select the company responsible for the survey that was applied to establish the market-based pay range for this job. The information in this field is maintained in the following form: Survey companies (form). |
Reference job | Enter the job code that the survey company uses for this job. |
Source | Enter the source of information for the market-based pay range. |
Low threshold | Enter the minimum amount that someone in this job will get paid. |
Control point | Enter the amount that is the base level for an employee in this job. |
High threshold | Enter the maximum amount that someone in this job will get paid. |
