AIF manage transforms (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click System administration > Setup > Services and Application Integration Framework > Inbound ports. Click Inbound transforms. Then, on the Action Pane, click Manage transforms.

Click System administration > Setup > Services and Application Integration Framework > Inbound ports. Click Outbound transforms. Then, on the Action Pane, click Manage transforms.

Click System administration > Setup > Services and Application Integration Framework > Outbound ports. Click Outbound transforms. Then, on the Action Pane, click Manage transforms.

Use this form to add or delete transforms that are based on either XML or Microsoft .NET assemblies. Transforms can be used to process documents and other data that is handled by integration ports.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Load

Load the transform from a file. For transforms that are based on XML, browse to either an .xsl file or an .xslt file. For transforms that are based on .NET assemblies, browse to a .dll file.

Type

Select the transform type from the following options:

  • XSL – The transform is based on XML, such as Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT).

  • .NET assembly – The transform is based on .NET assemblies. A transform of this kind is contained in a .dll file.

After you select a transform type, the fields that are available in the Transform details pane are changed to match your selection.

Content

The XML code for the current transform, if the transform is based on XML. Click Load to load the XML code from a file.

Assembly

The metadata for the description of the assembly. This metadata includes the name of the assembly, version, culture, and public key token.

Class

Select the class that you want to use from the loaded assembly.
