Project budget revision allocation (form)

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Budget group, click Project budget. In the Project budget form, in the Revise group, click New revision. In the Project budget revision form, on the Budget tab, in the Allocate group, click Allocate budget. In the Allocate budget form, click Allocate.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Budget group, click Project budget. In the Project budget form, in the Revise group, click New revision. In the Project budget revision form, on the Costs FastTab or Revenues FastTab, click Modify uncommitted allocation.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Budget group, click Project budget. In the Project budget form, in the Revise group, click New revision. In the Project budget revision form, on the Budget tab, in the Allocate group, click View approved allocation.
Note
The View approved allocation button is available only if a project budget revision has been approved.
Use this form to change an unapproved budget revision allocation, or to view the budget revision allocations that have been approved for a project. You can only allocate the revisions that have been made to an approved budget.

Transaction type |
Select the type of transaction for which you want to modify or view the allocated transaction amounts. Note The category options in the Category field are based on the selection in the Transaction type field. |
Category |
Select the transaction category for which you want to modify or view the allocated amounts. Note This field is not available if the All categories check box is selected. |
All categories |
Select the check box to display the allocated transactions for all categories that are associated with the selected transaction type. |
Project |
Select the project or subproject for which you want to view or modify the allocated transactions. Note This field is not available if the All projects check box is selected. |
All projects |
Select the check box to view the allocated transactions for all projects and subprojects for the budget. |
Activity |
Select the activity type that is associated with the project or subproject for which you want to view or modify the allocated transactions. Note Activity options are not available if the All projects check box is selected. |
All activities |
Select the check box to view the transaction amounts that are associated with all activities. |
Year |
The project year for which the allocated amounts are displayed. |
Revision allocation amount |
The total yearly amount that is to be allocated for the selected transaction type and category. Note This column is displayed when you are allocating a project budget revision. If you are viewing approved budget revision allocations, the column is replaced by the Total allocation column. |
Period start |
The start date of the period that is selected in the Budget revision amounts for each year. pane. |
Name |
A descriptive identification of each period in the yearly time period. |
Revision allocation amount |
The amount that is allocated to each period in the allocation time period. |
Budget revision total |
The total amount of the allocated project budget revision. |
Remaining budget revision to allocate |
The difference between the total budget revision amount and the amounts that have been allocated. Important This amount must be zero before you can complete the allocation. |
