Product relationship types (form)

Click Product information management > Setup > Relationships > Product relationship types.

Use this form to define product relationship types. Product relationship types define how products relate to one another, such as an accessory or a similar product. Product relationship types can be used to display related or similar products on your procurement site. Before you can define product relationships for your products, you must define product relationship types.

Open the Text translation form, where you can enter the description for the product relationship type in other languages.

Name

Enter the name of the product relationship type that you want to use in your procurement catalog. For example, you can define a product relationship type of “Related” or “Accessory” if you want employees to see related products or choose from a list of product accessories when ordering products on the procurement site. When you define a product in the All products and product masters or Released products form, you can assign a product relationship type to identify what relationship the product has to other products.

Description

Enter a description for the product relationship type.
