Create a commodity pricing calculation

Use this procedure to create a commodity pricing calculation.

  1. Click Inventory management > Periodic > Commodity pricing > Pricing calculation.

  2. Press CTRL+N to add a new pricing calculation line.

  3. In the Cost basis type field, select the cost basis for the calculation if it differs from the default.

  4. Enter the effective period for the calculation.

    • In the Run effective date field, select or enter the start date for the effective period.

    • In the Run expiry date field, select or enter the ending date for the effective period.

  5. If a previous pricing calculation appears in the Previous run field, and you want to copy lines from this calculation, or any previous calculation:

    • Click Copy to open the Copy pricing calculation form.

    • In the Pricing calculation field, select the calculation that you want to copy to the new pricing calculation, and then click OK.
