Batch job history (form) [AX 2012]

Click System administration > Inquiries > Batch jobs > Batch job history.

Use this form to view batch job history. From this form, you can also delete historical batch information.

Batch jobs run on a per-partition basis. A system administrator can create, change, and view the history for the batch jobs in each partition. This form shows information about batch jobs only for the partition to which you are currently logged on.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Overview tab

View a list of all completed batch jobs.

General tab

View extended information about the selected batch job.

Button

Description

View tasks

View the tasks that are included in the selected batch job.

Delete

Set up criteria for deleting a group of batch jobs.

Log

Open the batch log, which contains messages that were generated when the job was run.

Field

Description

Batch job ID

Identification for the instance of the batch job.

Status

The status of the selected batch job.

Job description

Description of the batch job.

Actual start date/time

Date and time at which the batch job started running.

End date/time

Date and time at which the batch job finished.

Company

Company in which the batch job ran.

Partition key

Partition key for the current partition only. This form does not display information about batch jobs in partitions other than the partition to which you are currently logged on.

User ID

User who created the batch job.

Scheduled start date/time

Date and time at which the batch job was scheduled to run.

Canceled by

User who canceled the batch job.
