Indirect cost component group assignment rules (form) [AX 2012]

Updated: October 11, 2012

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Setup > Indirect costs > Indirect cost component group assignment rules.

Use this form to assign an indirect cost component group to a worker and a project for a specific customer. The indirect cost component group consists of related indirect costs and defines the rules by which indirect costs amounts are calculated.

Select a worker and project to associate with an indirect cost component group. When the worker posts hours to the project, the number of hours is multiplied by the values in the indirect cost rule that you create in the Assigned indirect cost components form. The resulting indirect costs are added to the project costs.

NoteNote

If you are using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, this form is available only if the Project Management and Accounting Add-in is installed.
