Supply overview (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders. Double-click a sales order. On the Sales order lines FastTab, click Product and supply > Supply overview.
Use this form to obtain an overview of the supply of an item on a sales order line. You can use this form to investigate alternatives when the standard way of supplying an item does not meet requirements. You can review information about the various supply options on the tabs. Based on the value that is calculated for Receipt date at the customer, you can decide which supply options are worthy of additional investigation.
Note
You can also open the Supply overview form from the Released products list page. Click Product information management > Common > Released products. Select an item, and on the Action Pane, on the Purchase tab, in the Purchase order group, click Supply overview.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View the quantity that is on order for each selected dimension, and when the quantity can be delivered to the customer. |
Vendors |
View the possible vendors that can deliver the item to the customer. |
Standard lead times |
View when the item can be delivered to the customer, based on the standard lead times. |
Alternative items |
View an alternative item for the item, and obtain an overview of the on-hand quantity. To open the Supply overview form for the alternative item, click Supply overview. |
Quarantine and transport |
View the quantities that are in quarantine and transport warehouses. |

Requested receipt date |
The date that the customer requested to receive the item. |
Mode of delivery |
The delivery mode for the item. |
Configuration |
The dimension for item configuration, if you selected it as a dimension. If you did not select this dimension, it is not displayed, and the quantity is aggregated for all values of this item dimension. |
Size |
The dimension for item size, if you selected it as a dimension. If you did not select this dimension, it is not displayed, and the quantity is aggregated for all values of this item dimension. |
Color |
The dimension for item color, if you selected it as a dimension. If you did not select this dimension, it is not displayed, and the quantity is aggregated for all values of this item dimension. |
Site |
The dimension for item site, if you selected it as a dimension. |
Warehouse |
The dimension for item warehouse, if you selected it as a dimension. Microsoft Dynamics AX uses this field to find the transport times that are displayed on the tabs. |
Batch number |
The dimension for the batch, if you selected it as a dimension. |
Location |
The dimension for item location, if you selected it as a dimension. |
Pallet ID |
The dimension for pallet, if you selected it as a dimension. |
Serial number |
The dimension for serial number, if you selected it as a dimension. |
Internal mode of delivery |
Select whether to display all modes of delivery from the supply warehouse to the requirement warehouse, or to display only the default mode of delivery. |
Mode of delivery to the customer |
Select whether to display the requirement mode of delivery, the default mode of delivery, or all modes of delivery. The requirement mode of delivery is the mode that is specified on the Requirement tab. |
Transport relation required |
Display only supply options where there is a transport relation between the warehouse or warehouses and the customer who is defined in the Transport form. |
Include planned orders |
Display planned orders on the Orders tab. |
Alternative item number |
The alternative item number for the alternative item. |
Alternative configuration |
The alternative item configuration for the alternative item. |
Alternative size |
The alternative item size for the alternative item. |
Alternative color |
The alternative item color for the alternative item. |
