Click Project management and accounting > Inquiries > Assign resources > Resource assignment analysis – Financial dimension.

Use this form to view and analyze worker assignments for a project and related information about the financial dimension.

If you are using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, this form is available only if the Project Management and Accounting Add-in is installed.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Filters

Filter	Description
Start date	Select the start date of the project.
End date	Select the end date of the project.

Buttons

Button	Description
Employee	Open the Workers form, where you can view detailed information about the selected worker.
Assignments	Open the Resource assignments form, where you can view the current assignments of the selected worker.
Resource Manager scheduling	Open the Schedule resources form, where you can assign projects to a worker.

Fields

Field	Description
Dimension filter	The financial dimensions that were set up in the Financial dimensions form.
Capacity	The number of hours that the worker is available to work on the project.
Hard commitments	The number of hours that the worker is firmly committed to the project.
Soft commitments	The number of hours that the worker is tentatively committed to the project.
Availability in percentage	The availability of the worker to be assigned to the project, shown as a percentage.
Utilization % - hard	The percentage of the worker’s time that is assigned to firm commitments.
Utilization % - soft	The percentage of the worker’s time that is assigned to tentative commitments.
Total utilization %	The total percentage of a worker’s time that is assigned to projects.
Non-utilized %	The percentage of a worker’s time that is not assigned to projects.
