Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > Project contracts. Select a project contract in the list, and then, on the Action Pane, click Edit, or create a new project contract.

Use this form to create and maintain project contracts. You can also create billing rules to invoice the customer when you have completed a part of a project, such as a unit of delivery, a specified percentage of work, or a project milestone.

When you add information about the funding sources for the project contract, you can select customer payment retention terms for a funding source that is customer-based.
