Document groups (form) [AX 2012]

Click Production control > Setup > Document groups.

Use this form to set up document groups. The groups define which workers can read different document types. Documents can be attached to production jobs. Workers view the documents when they make registrations on production jobs or projects in the Job registration form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

New

Create a document group.

Delete

Delete a document group.

Add

Add a document type or a worker to a document group.

Remove

Remove a document type or a worker from a document group.

Field

Description

Document group ID

Identification of the document group.

Description

Description of the document group.

Type

Document type.

Required reading

Select if the document type must be read for a worker every time that the worker starts a job to which the selected document type is attached.

Required once

Select if the document type must be read only the first time a worker starts a job to which the selected document type is attached.

Worker

Identification of the worker.

Name

Name of the worker.
