Grant types (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Project management and accounting > Setup > Grants > Grant types.
Use this form to create grant types that are used for classifying different grants according to their source or purpose. The grant types that are created in this form can be selected in the Grant type field in the Grant details form.
Categories can make it easier to find a grant within the system, especially if your organization applies for many different types of grants. For example, you might create types for the broad categories of federal and state grants. You might create other types to identify special categories for programs or projects used by your organization. A school district might create special grant categories for different types of academic programs or for expenditures such as building construction or equipment purchases.
