Row Filters (Role Designer)(Tabular Model)

Use the Row Filters page of the Role Designer to define row level filters for the associated role. Row filters can be defined only for roles with Read and Read and Process permissions.

Note

All options on this page are disabled if Full Control (Administrator) is selected on the General page of the Role Designer or if the role permission is set to Process.

Options

  • Table
    The model table for which the filter is defined.

  • DAX Filter
    A DAX formula that evaluates to a Boolean condition.

  • DAX Filter - <tablename>
    Type a DAX formula that evaluates to a Boolean condition.
