Click General ledger > Periodic > Zakat > Zakat assets and depreciation.

Use this form to calculate the depreciation difference and record maintenance expenses that are required to generate Zakat reports.

Group number

Enter a group number.

Group value end of previous year

Enter the group value at the end of the previous fiscal year.

Total cost of additions within current and previous year

Enter the total addition costs for the current and previous year.

50% of total cost of additions within current and previous year

Displays 50 percent of the total addition costs for the current and previous year.

Total compensations within current and previous year

Enter total compensation paid for the current and previous year.

50% of total compensation within current and previous year

Displays 50 percent of the total compensation paid for the current and previous year.

Group value end of year

The group value for the year-end.

Depreciation ratio

Enter a depreciation ratio.

Depreciation value

The depreciation value, which is calculated based on the depreciation ratio.

Group value end of current year

The group value as of the current year after depreciation.

More than 4% maintenance expenses

Enter maintenance expenses of more than 4 percent.

Group balance end of current year

The group balance at the end of the current year.

Depreciation as per books

The calculated depreciation according to the books.

Depreciation difference

The calculated depreciation difference.
