New legal entity (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Organization administration > Setup > Organization > Legal entities. Then click New.
Use this form to create a new legal entity for which only the required fields have values. To enter additional information about a legal entity, use the Legal entities form.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.
Fields
Field |
Description |

Name |
Enter the full name of the legal entity. |
Company |
Enter the ID of the company account that is associated with the legal entity. |
Country/region |
Select a country/region in the list. Note Some features are available only in specific countries/regions. The country/region that you select for the primary address of the legal entity determines which of these features are available to the legal entity. |
