Notification clean-up (form)

Click System administration > Periodic > Notification clean up.
Use this form to remove notifications and alerts that match the criteria that you specify.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Specify batch information for the notification and alert clean-up job. |

Open a form where you can enter the criteria that will be used to search for the notifications and alerts to remove. |
Recurrence |
Open the Recurrence form where you can change the recurrence pattern and the default starting date and time for the batch job. |
Alerts |
Open the Set up alerts for batch jobs form where you can specify when you want alerts sent to you. For example, alert messages can be sent to you when the batch job ends, encounters an error, or is canceled. |

Notifications based on organization-wide rule |
Select this check box to include organization-wide notifications in the search for notifications to remove. |
Notifications based on company rule |
Select this check box to include company-specific notifications in the search for notifications to remove. |
Batch processing |
Select this option to run due date events as part of a batch job. You must select this option to add this batch job to the batch queue. |
Task description |
Enter a description for the batch job. |
Batch group |
Select the batch group in which this batch job will run. |
Private |
Select this option to restrict other users from processing this batch job. |
