Allocate budget (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. Select or open a project. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Budget group, click Project budget. In the Project budget form, on the Action Pane, on the Budget tab, in the Allocate group, click Allocate budget.

Use this form to select the types of project budget amounts that you want to allocate and the time frame over which you want to allocate them.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Click to allocate the selected project budget amounts equally over the selected time period.

Allocate from

Enter or select the beginning date of the project budget allocation period.

Allocate to

Enter or select the ending date of the project budget allocation period.

By time period

Select whether to allocate the project budget by period, by quarter, or by year.

All types

Select this check box to include all transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Hour costs

Select this check box to include hour cost transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Expense costs

Select this check box to include expense cost transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Item costs

Select this check box to include item cost transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Fee revenues

Select this check box to include fee revenue transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Expense revenues

Select this check box to include expense revenue transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Hour revenues

Select this check box to include hour revenue transaction types in the project budget allocation.

Item revenues

Select this check box to include item revenue transaction types in the project budget allocation.
