Create or modify a prospect record

Prospects are the organizations and individuals with whom you will potentially interact for business purposes.

Create a prospect record

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Prospects on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the Prospect tab, in the New group, click Prospect.

  3. Select whether to enter the customer in the address book as an organization or a person, and enter the customer’s name.

  4. Enter the necessary information about the prospect, and then click Save and close.

Modify a prospect record

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Prospects on the Quick Launch.

  2. In the Name column, click the prospect record that you want to modify. The View prospect page opens.

  3. On the Action Pane, on the View tab, in the Maintain group, click Edit.

  4. Make the necessary changes to the prospect record and then click Save and close.
