Change a customer, prospect, or contacts name [AX 2012]

You can change the name of a customer, prospect, or contact record.

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Customers, Prospects, or Contacts on the Quick Launch.

  2. Select the record that you want to change, and then click Edit on the Action Pane.

  3. On the General FastTab, click Name change.

  4. Enter the new name for the record, and then click Save and close.
