Manage employee benefits

Use the Benefits page to assign and manage employee benefits. Depending on your permissions, you can view your benefits, or you might be able to modify and assign benefits for other users.

Note

Depending on your role or the privileges that are assigned to you, you might need to go to your Employee services site before you complete the procedures in this topic.

View benefits

  1. Click Team on the top link bar and select the employee to view benefits for.

  2. On the Action Pane, in the Related information group, click Benefits. The Benefits page is displayed, where you can view a list of benefits assigned to the selected employee.

Add a benefit

  1. Click Team on the top link bar and select the employee to view benefits for.

    Note

    Select the employee name to view additional details about the employee.

  2. On the Action Pane, in the Related information group, click Benefits.

  3. Click Add. The Add benefit page is displayed.

  4. Enter or select the benefit.

  5. You can enter starting and ending dates for the benefit.

  6. Click Save and close.

Modify or remove a benefit

You can modify a benefit assignment if, for example, you need to provide an ending date for a benefit or extend the period during which the benefit will be received. If a benefit is no longer valid, you can expire the benefit.

  1. Click Team on the top link bar and select the employee to view benefits for.

  2. On the Action Pane, in the Related information group, click Benefits.

  3. Select the benefit to modify or delete.

  4. Click Edit.

    • To modify the benefit, make your changes.

    • To discontinue the benefit for the employee, enter a benefit expiration date that is earlier or equal to the current date. The benefit is removed.

  5. Click Save and close.
