Register an absence (Enterprise Portal) [AX 2012]

Use the Absence registrations list page to view your absence registrations, create new absence registrations, and submit absence registrations for approval.

Depending on your role or the privileges that are assigned to you, you might need to go to your Employee services site before you complete the procedures in this topic.

Click Time and attendance on the top link bar, and then click Absence registrations on the Quick Launch to view your list of absence registrations.

  1. Click Time and attendance on the top link bar, and then click Absence registrations on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, click Absence registration.

  3. Select the absence code that is appropriate for the absence that you are registering.

  4. Select the earliest date that you were absent or will be absent from work for the absence registration.

    NoteNote

    The start date must be within dates of the absence period. The absence period starting and ending dates are displayed in the Identification group of fields.

  5. Select the last date that you were absent or will be absent from work for the absence registration.

    The end date must be within dates of the absence period. The absence period starting and ending dates are displayed in the Identification group of fields.

  6. Enter a description for the absence.

  7. Enter the number of hours that you were absent or will be absent from work.

  8. Enter additional information about the absence registration in the Note field.

  9. Click Save and close.

  2. Select the check box next to each absence registration to submit for approval and then click Submit for approval.

  2. Select the absence registration to modify and then click Edit.

  3. Modify the necessary information and then click Save and close.

  2. Select the absence registration to delete and then click Delete.
