The data that is contained in lists in Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX can be exported to Microsoft Excel. Click the Export to Microsoft Excel button on the Action Pane. In a static export, the data in Excel remains unchanged, unless you directly modify the data. In a dynamic export, when the data is refreshed in the database, Excel retrieves the updated data from Microsoft Dynamics AX by using Query Services.

When you click Export to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics AX exports all of the rows on the current list page to Excel. If you want to export rows that are on another list page, you must open the page, click Export to Microsoft Excel, and then click the option to save the export to a file.

By default, list pages in Enterprise Portal display 10 rows. However, Microsoft Dynamics AX administrators can configure lists to display more rows by using the Enterprise Portal parameters form in the Microsoft Dynamics AX client.

For more information about how to use Excel together with Microsoft Dynamics AX, see "View data from Microsoft Dynamics AX in Office Excel" in the Microsoft Dynamics AX client Help.
