Create or modify an activity [AX 2012]

You can create and schedule several types of activities in Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX. For example, you can schedule an appointment to meet with an individual customer regarding a service, or you can create an event and invite your opportunities, or potential customers, to see your newest products.

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Activities on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the New group, click Appointment.

  3. Enter the appointment information, and then click Save and close.

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Activities on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the New group, click Event.

  3. Enter the event information, and then click Save and close.

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Activities on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the New group, click Task.

  3. Enter the task information, and then click Save and close.

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Activities on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the New group, click Action.

  3. Enter the action information, and then click Save and close.

  1. Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click Activities on the Quick Launch.

  2. Select the activity to modify, close, or delete.

    • To modify the activity, on the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the Maintain group, click Edit. Make the changes, and then click Save and close.

    • To close the activity, on the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the Maintain group, click Set as complete.

    • To delete the activity, on the Action Pane, on the Activity tab, in the Maintain group, click Delete.
