Create, update, or view an address record

You can enter and store multiple addresses in one record for an individual customer, contact, prospect, lead, or opportunity. For example, you can set up multiple addresses for a single customer account if that customer's delivery address differs from the billing address.

Click Sales on the top link bar, and then click one of the following links on the Quick Launch:

  • Customers

  • Prospects

  • Leads

  • Opportunities

  • Contacts

In the Employee services portal, under Personal information, click Personal details.

Create an address record

  1. In the Name column, click the record that you want to create an address record for. The View page opens.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the View tab, in the Maintain group, click Edit.

  3. On the Address FastTab, click Add.

  4. Enter a purpose and a name for the address.

    The address purpose is used to determine the default for transactions such as a sales order or invoices. The address name is used as the default delivery name on transactions such as sales orders and quotations.

  5. Enter the address component information.

  6. Select the check boxes to indicate if the address is primary.

  7. After you enter the necessary address information, click Save and close.

Update an address record

  1. In the Name column, click the record that contains the address that you want to update. The View page opens.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the View tab, in the Maintain group, click Edit.

  3. On the Address FastTab, select the address that you want to update, and then click Details.

  4. Make the necessary changes to the address record, and then click Save and close.

View an address record

  1. In the Name column, click a record that you want to view.

  2. On the Address FastTab, select the record that you want to view, and then click Details.
