Migrate Opalis Workflows

You can migrate existing Opalis Integration Server 6.3 workflows into System Center 2012 - Orchestrator. This is accomplished through an export from Opalis Integration Server 6.3 followed by a subsequent import into Orchestrator.

To migrate Opalis workflows

  1. Identify the Opalis Integration Server 6.3 workflows that you want to migrate into Orchestrator. In the Opalis Integration Server 6.3 Client, click Actions, and then click Export. Export the workflows you want and any required global settings.

  2. Copy the export file to the computer where the Orchestrator Runbook Designer is installed.

  3. In the Runbook Designer, click Actions, and then click Import. Select the export file as the source for the import.

The Import dialog requires a password when importing Orchestrator runbooks. This setting is not used when importing Opalis Integration Server 6.3 workflows. Leave the password field blank. Click Finish to start the import operation.

After the import is complete, the Opalis Integration Server 6.3 workflows have been migrated to Orchestrator.

  4. Review the information in Opalis Migration Details and Test Migrated Runbooks, and then review the newly created runbooks in the Runbook Designer to determine if any additional authoring is required.
