Add and maintain your professional experience information

Use the Competencies page to add or maintain information about the professional experiences that you have. For example, you can enter information about previous employers and positions, and also add descriptions of the tasks that you completed while in a previous position.

Note

Depending on your role or the privileges that are assigned to you, you might need to go to your Employee services site before you complete the procedures in this topic.

View professional experience information

  1. Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Competencies on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Professional experiences FastTab, click an employer link to view detailed information about your professional experience with that employer.

Add professional experience information

  1. Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Competencies on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Professional experiences FastTab, click Add to display the New professional experience page.

  3. Enter the name of the company or organization where you gained the professional experience.

  4. Enter the title of the position that you held with the company or organization.

  5. Enter the location of the company or organization.

  6. Enter the start and end date for the period of time when you worked for the company or organization.

  7. Enter additional information about the position of trust in the Note field.

  8. Click Save and close.

Modify professional experience information

  1. Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Competencies on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Professional experiences FastTab, click the employer link associated with the professional experience information.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Modify or enter information in the necessary fields and then click Save and close.

Delete professional experience information

  1. Click Personal information on the top link bar, and then click Competencies on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Professional experiences FastTab, select professional experience row to remove and then click Remove.
