(PM) Journal lines, Inventory count (form)

Click Inventory management > Journals > Item counting > Counting. On the Inventory journal form, select a journal and then click Lines.
Use this form to make an inventory count. When you post this type of journal, an inventory receipt or issue is posted, the inventory level and value are changed, and ledger transactions are generated. At a minimum, you must specify the following:
Transaction date
Item number
Quantity counted that includes catch weight quantity counts

The quantity in catch weight units that is registered as the catch weight quantity in inventory. This number is compared to the catch weight quantity of the item counted. |
CW counted |
The quantity of the item counted in catch weight units. It is used only with the journal type Counting. |
CW quantity |
Enter the quantity in catch weight units that you want to adjust. Issues of catch weight inventory are designated with a minus sign. |
CW unit |
The catch weight unit of measure. |
