Click Inventory management > Inquiries > On-hand.

Use this form to obtain detailed information about items with on-hand inventory. On-hand inventory is divided among inventory dimensions.

On-hand inventory is generated and updated automatically when transactions are made in the inventory, whether they are forecasted, physical, or financial transactions.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Catch weight overview

View all of the catch weight items with on-hand inventory.

Description

CW physical inventory

The physical catch weight quantity in the inventory.

CW physical reserved

The total catch weight quantity that was physically reserved for the item dimension.

CW available physical

The available catch weight quantity (not reserved) from the physical inventory.

CW ordered in total

The total amount of ordered catch weight items.

CW total available

The total quantity that is available for the catch weight item. The quantity includes the physical ordered and reserved inventory.

CW unit

The catch weight unit of measure.

Manufacturing date

The date when the batch was produced in a batch order or received in a purchase order. This date might also be the vendor’s manufacturing date if this information was provided when vendor batch details were updated.

Shelf advice date

The shelf advice date for the inventory batch. This date defines the date when the inventory batch should be retested to validate that the inventory still meets testing standards.

Best before date

The best before date for the inventory. The date defines the date before which an inventory batch should be used.

Tip

This date can be considered in master planning and for reservation against batches. This depends on the selection in the Pick criteria field for the associated item model group in the Item model groups form.

Expiration date

The date when the inventory batch expires.
