(PM) Coverage groups (form)

Click Master planning > Setup > Coverage > Coverage groups.

Use this form to create a coverage group and set up the parameters that are used in master scheduling. These parameters determine how to calculate net requirements for the items that are linked to the coverage groups.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Formula version requirement

If you select this check box, a particular formula version will affect coverage planning.

For example, for a sales order line, you can indicate in the Sub-BOM field that the items ordered must be produced by a particular formula version. Even if that version is not the active formula version for the item, the derived requirements are calculated based on the selected formula version.
